The Mean (often called the average) is a measure of central tendency found by adding all numbers in a data set and then dividing by the number of values in the set.
Formula
Mean = Sum of all values ÷ Total number of values

Let's find the mean of: 5, 10, 15, 20
1. Add all the numbers: 5 + 10 + 15 + 20 = 50
2. Count how many numbers there are: n = 4
3. Divide the sum by the count: 50 ÷ 4 = 12.5
