How to manually calculate each type of percentage.
1. Percent of a Number
To find P% of V:(P ÷ 100) × V
Example: 20% of 150(20 ÷ 100) × 150 = 30
2. Number as a Percent
To find what percent V1 is of V2:(V1 ÷ V2) × 100
Example: 30 is what % of 150(30 ÷ 150) × 100 = 20%
3. Percentage Change
To find the change from V1 to V2:((V2 - V1) ÷ |V1|) × 100
Example: Change 50 to 75((75 - 50) ÷ 50) × 100 = 50% Increase
